After removing the DPF filter or EGR cooler and clamping it in our cleaning machines, you only need 50 minutes for 99% cleaning, including drying. Our particle filter flushing devices are the only cleaning machines that carry out all phases of cleaning, including washing and drying, independently. What makes our DPF and EGR cooler flushing units so special?

Our OXYTECH DPF and EGR cooler flushing devices are and remain something very special. In contrast to alternative methods, such as heat treatment by burning out, ultrasonic cleaning or with chemical additives. It is guaranteed to remove all deposits of soot and ash without jeopardizing the function of the particulate filter. In addition, our DPF cleaning system fits into any workshop thanks to its compact design.

Advantages in contrast to heat treatment by burning out:

A particle filter will block for good because of the ash and this ash cannot be burned again. You know this from your charcoal barbecue. During heat treatment, the particle filter must be removed and heated in an oven. The oven must reach 600-750 °C in order to burn only the carbon residues. After around 10 - 12 hours, followed by pneumatic cleaning, the DPF would be ready for use again. Not to forget the necessary, chargeable shipping to a company that can carry out this treatment. This means that your customer will be unable to use their vehicle for up to four days in total.

A differential pressure measurement must still be carried out afterwards. This procedure removes most PM10 deposits, but there is often a risk of damage to the filter. For example, the ceramic on the filter walls could melt due to the high temperatures. Similarly, thermal shock is another risk, as it can damage the precious metals.

Advantages in contrast to ultrasound treatment:

The particle filter is rinsed with water in a tank during ultrasonic treatment. The ultrasound causes micro-bubbles to form at high temperatures and very high pressure. The soot particles are detached from the filter by implosion of the bubbles. The process takes around 12 hours, including drying and pneumatic cleaning.

Although deep cleaning of the filter cells is possible, the results are poor for heavily soiled filters (e.g. due to oil) and for large filters. There is also a risk of damage to the filter due to the vibrations generated by the ultrasound and the implosion of the bubbles. Frequent water changes are necessary to remove any PM10 residues that are deposited in the appliance. This often results in high water consumption and high operating costs.

Advantages in contrast to chemical additives:

The chemical additives are filled into the vehicle tank together with the fuel. The aim is to melt the burnt residues in the filter and remove them through the exhaust pipe. A variety of additives are available for this purpose. The average cost is between 20 and 200 euros. This type of cleaning is simple, but not very beneficial or effective! Residues are not really removed and the additive itself adds combustion deposits again. As a result, the particulate filter will continue to block again and again in the long term.

Our process is TÜV-Nord certified and GUARANTEES 99% cleaning quality. In contrast to conventional methods, the particle filter is rinsed gently but thoroughly - without aggressive chemicals or risk of damage.

Our cold rinse works without heating up and is gentle on the filter. With only approx. 20 liters of water per cleaning - instead of 100-200 liters with other systems - we achieve a demonstrably better result. At the same time, energy and operating costs are significantly reduced.
